This one-page Sales Dashboard report is a monthly reporting tool used by our client. It incorporates hundreds of critical sales and marketing facts. The charts show information on a 13-month time frame. Next to each chart there is a performance indicator showing the trends on different metrics such as decline in sales or performance improvement. The dashboard report also has two top ten tables showing the most critical sales metrics.

What used to be a reporting system involving multiple employees who worked with the data and produced dozens of excel reports and powerpoint presentations, it has been converted to a one-page magazine quality dashboard report containing all relevant information. Now, by using our customized dashboard reports, the client saves time and money, has better information and more productive meetings, and it is very easy to share information and build a common business purpose. 

                                    Executive Dashboard

This is an example of Executive Dashboard which is cross-functional and contains information from different business functions as well as different departments, sites, and locations.

Our client wanted to incorporate their Balanced Scorecard efforts in a single report. The four business perspectives they measure are finance, marketing, operations, and organizational development. They have worked on developing a strategic measurement and integration system that will communicate clearly the checks and balances of different business functions and how they interact with each other.

Having many different people from different locations and departments working on this top priority project as well as hundreds of metrics, the challenge was how to incorporate everything together. It used to take dozens of reports, powerpoint presentations, excel files, and conference calls for every meeting.

Our solution: Create a one-page dashboard report with four sections/columns. Each section represents one business perspective and shows performance on all relevant metrics. Now, it is easy for everyone to understand the big picture and see everything on one page. Understanding and sharing results takes no more than one minute.  Meetings are more productive and communication is very effective and clear.

                                   Quality Scorecard

The client started a quality improvement program for their three production facilities. They developed a Quality Scorecard that will measure and report the key quality metrics. However, they did not have a design solution for their quality reporting needs.

We came up with a customized solution and developed dashboard reports - one overall dashboard report for all production sites and three individual Quality Scorecard reports for each of the branches. Today, these dashboard reports are run daily, weekly, and monthly for each of the production facilities.
